Quick thing - I'm experimenting with email to a frigidly cold list this week. Stay tuned for the results. And guess what? I'm starting with the email below because as per normal, I've overbooked my life this week and there's no time for a long drawn out email. Here it is:
Working on the super secret, new pen name project that I've ghosted you for over the past few months. However, since this is my random 6-month update and no one deserves the ghosting of the century, I thought I'd come in with something worth it for you.
Give Me Your Reason is free for 3 days this week. Book One. He falls first. She's over 40, single, 4 kids. He's looking to escape the limelight. She just wants run her empire. You've got only one bed. Mountains. LA/Vancouver. And it's FREE for a limited time.
I'm headed back to the community table at my local coffee shop for more of the mystery project. I'll be back next month with an actual update. Thanks for sticking around and patiently waiting for me to find my mojo again.

Your challenge for this week, write something 1-2 paragraphs, link a book, and get out. Employ this when you need to send something but life is...lifing. I have a client who sent these emails for 2 years when her kids were little.
There are no rules saying you must jam pack value into all of your emails. Quick wins all around.
