🎃 My favourite fall subject lines!

Reader, I'm a fall fantatic. Because fall leads to my favourite season, winter!

Yes, yes, I know. All you die-hard summer-lovers are scowling and contemplating hitting the unsub button. Please don't judge me purely on my greatest desire to live inside Santa's actual village, but on my actual value to your email ROI!

Fun side note: My writing has been derailed as of late and for the first time, in a very, very long time, I'm writing again. And it's a naughty Santa's Village side quest story to go with my new 2025 Antarctic research station series. What better way to keep warm in constant blizzard conditions than...well, you know!

Anyhow, today, I'm all teachered out having taught a master class on emails for retailers yesterday AND dealt with a kitten post emergency surgery (who has a GI reaction to her meds so imagine that one) so you're getting the exhausted single-mom version of me talking about one of my very favourite subjects...SUBJECT LINES!

And when I say talking about, I mean just listing some upcoming subject lines I'm using. All I'm going to do is to list some of the subject lines I've either tried in the fall or are going to try this fall for myself and my clients. Without further adieu, here you go.

Side note: If you own Learn With Me Lessons: Subject Lines, these will magically appear later today inside of the subject line vault.

  • Fall For What You Love
  • Fall in love with [insert whatever]
  • This one moment changed it ALL!
  • I totally didn't see that coming!
  • I ghosted you. (this one's getting used by me since, wait for it, it's been just under ONE YEAR since I sent a regular newsletter. My automations have been merrily selling books in the background, but not my author newsletters. I know. I know. I've got a serious case of the 'Shame. Shame. Shame.' Hit me up if you get my reference there.)
  • Gift giving season has come early! (also queued up for my list)
  • Prepare to question EVERYTHING you know about Santa's Workshop. (Also from my upcoming emails! You can remove Santa's Workshop and insert something else.)
  • I could not. Put. This. Book. Down! (Great for a friend swap - but make sure you actually couldn't put it down. Readers can feel that vibe check passing or failing!)

Okay, see if any of those subject lines spark some subject line ideas or just go right ahead and take them for yourself!

Happy Emailing,

Holly
